By now, the Buffalo Trace Root beer Float isn’t exactly a secret.  4 parts root beer, 2 parts Buffalo Trace bourbon cream and it’s delicious.

We’re not satisfied.  So we tweaked the recipe just a tad.  We substitute hard root beer for standard root beer, and it’s fantastic.  It adds just a touch more alcohol to the flavor, making this a cold and creamy alcoholic treat.

Ingredients:
  • 4 Oz. Not Your father’s hard root beer
  • 2 Oz. Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream
  • Ice

To Make the Cocktail:

  1. Pour Hard Root Beer over ice.  Wait for the fizz to settle down.
  2. Pour Bourbon cream over root beer and ice.
  3. Stir Gently.
  4. Enjoy.
