    Our Thoughts are with the People of Houston

    The ModernThirst team just wants to say that our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Houston and the Gulf Coast today.  We recognize that many of our readers hail from that area, and we’re hoping everyone comes through this storm safely.  And whether you’re a reader of this site or not, we’re all one nation, all one family of humankind.

    If you’re able to help, there are a host of places you can donate time and money towards Hurricane Harvey relief.  SB Nation’s list is here.  Vox has a list here. It will take years for Houston to fully recover.  Any amount of money, time, prayers, and support you can contribute will be welcome, I am sure.
