Anyone else have a signed bottle of bourbon? Bottles signed by the master distiller make great collectibles, or perfect gifts for the bourbon lover. Master Distillers can often be found at scheduled signings at distilleries, liquor stores, and bourbon clubs. They generally do not charge a fee for their signature, though some establishments may require you to purchase a bottle on-site for signing. If anyone cares to send us some photos of their signed bottles or signed bourbon collectibles, we’ll publish them for all our readers to see! Send photos to [email protected]

I have a bottle of Jack daniels gold medal 1981signed by the distiller in 2007, Distiller is Jimmy Bedford. Can you please give some idea of what it is worth?
Attended the 1st release of Castle & Key on 26 March . Obtained signatures from all three owners with High bottle numbers (18,000). Also have 4 Unsigned bottles (# 330, 344, 345 & 360). As far as potential value, which is potentially more valuable.

I have two bottles signed by the Beam brothers (Limestone Branch). In general, do bottles hold value whether full of empty?
Generally, signed bottles don’t add much value. But if they do hold any, full is definitely preferable to empty.

Sorry, I don’t know much about valuations. Typically, Signatures are more for sentimentality than worth.

Signatures don’t tend to add much value, from my experience, other than sentimentality. I can’t comment much on secondary value, though.
