The next Louisville Bourbon Society meeting is Monday, the 21st, at 6:30. I’ll be there with a bottle of Four Roses Private Selection OESQ to share. The first meeting or two are free to attend, so if you care to show up, come introduce yourself and let me know you saw the site and share a sip with us! The guest speaker is Craig Beam, master distiller for Heaven Hill, which is fast becoming my favorite producer. The meeting is at the Nucleus Building in downtown Louisville at the corner of Market and Floyd street.
Also, if you want to have Craig Beam sign a bottle, bring a Heaven Hill product with you (Elijah Craig, Evan Williams, Henry McKenna, Parker’s Heritage, Heaven Hill, Larceny, Old Fitzgerald, etc).
*I’ve just learned the guest speaker is actually Fred Noe, Master Distiller of Jim Beam brands (Jim beam, Knob Creek, Booker’s, Baker’s, Basil Hayden’s, etc). Having seen him speak before, I can honestly say he is a treat to listen to.*
