By BillIt’s a little mind boggling to think that it was less than 90 years ago that prohibition ended. In fact, there are plenty of people alive tpday who actually remember that joyous December 5th in 1933 when prohibition’s death knell was sounded.
Let us never forget.

I’m watching the Ken Burns documentary on Prohibition (seen 2 out of 3 chapters so far). It is facinating and I recommend it. You can see it on Amazon Prime. I certainly make you think differently about why the Volstead act was enacted in the first place. Of course it also shows how the desires of the people are stronger than the laws.
