    Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye

    92 Excellent

A well-rounded and full-bodied Kentucky Rye Whiskey, Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye is well worth the price.

    Appearance

    Golden-Brown

    Nose

Vanilla, slight caramel, leather, dark cocoa, orange and lemon zest, candied orange and citrus.

    Taste

The nose carries through. Lots of vanilla and sweet notes on the front palate fading to spicy pepper and citrus on the mid palate, with slight oak and black pepper on the rear of the tongue.

    Finish

Medium in length, barrel tannins and rye spice carry through.

    ModernThirst.com Score: 92 out of 100 points.
