DEC 9 – Hyde No. 6 President’s Reserve 46% Cost = $70 Score: A-
Nose: super sweet – almost too much so, raisins, caramel, vanilla, touch of spice, like the nose on this whiskey
Taste: sherry comes through, dark fruits and caramel
Finish: nice mouth coating lingering solid medium length finish
Overall: single grain blended with older single malt finished in sherry for around 9 months; really like this dram – weakest part is the finish, would buy a bottle
