DEC 11 – The Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey 40% Cost = $40-50 Score: C-
Nose: mulled apples, toffee, nutmeg, pear, wood, herbal quality, mintiness – menthol
Taste: flat on the palate, bland old caramels, spice, thin
Finish: short finish – quickly disappears, some tannin astringency
Overall: a constrained dram – nothing to get excited about for me, would not revisit after my first taste
