A common misconception is that bourbon always gets better with age. Master Distillers and enthusiasts often agree that 12 years is the maximum age most bourbons his their sweet spot. While many of the ultra-aged bourbons of recent years have been woody messes, some have been pretty tasty. Here’s our list.
